The US may have perfectly decent cell-phone networks, but getting the latest handsets for them is still a big problem. Today Windows Mobile device maker HTC announced the Touch Pro, a sliding-keyboard, touch-screen smart phone with an innovative 3D interface and some pretty awesome specs. It's got a VGA screen, 288 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, HSDPA 7.2 networking, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 528 Mhz processor.Sounds awesome, right? But the Touch Pro being announced now isn't for North America and in fact won't work on our high-speed networks. We'll get a version, but we'll have to wait until "later in 2008."
